The history of PRONOTPLAST is anything but ordinary. What Erwin and Beat Ruckstuhl started in Wetzikon in 1989 has since developed into a success story that we continue to shape and write with lots of innovative energy.

    Lukas Ruckstuhl

    In July 2014, Lukas Ruckstuhl takes over the entire share capital from Beat and Erwin Ruckstuhl. He joined the family business in 1997 and played an active role in shaping the successful history of Prontoplast. A new chapter begins.

    25 years Prontoplast

    The company celebrates its 25th anniversary.
    Since the move in 2006, the machine park has grown to 17 state-of-the-art injection molding machines. The company's strength lies in its continuity. Its constant further development is based on partnership-based cooperation with its loyal customers.

    Change of legal form and extension of the name

    Prontoplast GmbH becomes today's Prontoplast Spritzguss AG. The ownership structure has not changed since the company was founded. Beat and Erwin Ruckstuhl each own 50% of the share capital.

    Second move

    Growth continues uninterrupted. The company relocates its headquarters to Werkstrasse 6 in Wetzikon. Ten injection molding machines are moved during the relocation.

    The general partnership is converted into a private limited company.
