In July 2014 Lukas Ruckstuhl acquires the entire share capital from Beat und Erwin Ruckstuhl. Since joining the family-owned business in 1997, Lukas has been actively involved in shaping Prontoplast, writing a new chapter in Prontoplast’s history.

Prontoplast celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Since relocating to the current premises in 2006 the machine park has grown to 17 state-of-the-art injection molding machines. At Prontoplast, our strength lies in our continuity. Our continued development is based on collaborative relationships with our loyal customers.

Prontoplast GmbH is transformed into today’s Prontoplast Spritzguss AG, a public limited company. The shareholder structure remains unchanged: Beat and Erwin Ruckstuhl each own 50% of the share capital.

Second move

Second move

Protoplast’s growth continues unabated. It relocates its registered office to Werkstrasse 6 in Wetzikon. The move also involves relocating ten injection molding machines.

The general partnership is transformed into a limited liability company (GmbH).

1996

First move

First move

The company soon outgrows its quarters on Bolstrasse  and relocates to more spacious premises at Motorenstrasse 118, also in Wetzikon.

1989

Founding

Erwin and Beat Ruckstuhl establish Prontoplast KG, a general partnership, on Bolstrasse in Wetzikon. The vision of having their own company takes off with only one injection molding machine and a single order.
